Install Windows 7 from USB

Hi, all..Lot of you asked me how to install windows 7 from a usbdisk. well today I'm going to show you how to install windows 7 from a USB sticks.

The below process is the most easiest way to do it.

Things you require for this are:
--------------------------------------

1. USB Stick
2. A Windows 7 Setup disk
3. A system running windows OS supporting Diskpart (Its available in Windows Xp sp3 and higher, But my recommendation is to use 7 box.)

Note: Windows Xp have diskpart tool installed within it. but sometime it does not list you usb disk. :P

Procedure:
-------------

• Insert the USB drive in USB port.
• Open command prompt, type the following commands one by one

• Diskpart
• list disk
• select disk 1 (check whether its USB or else change the no to the desired one)
• clean
• create partition primary
• active
• format fs=fat32 quick
• assign

Now the only thing left is to copy the files of the windows 7 dvd in usb drive. Once this is done remove the drive.


Now use the USB in the system and boot through it. To install windows 7.
